Last night I was watching a debate between a well-known atheist and another atheist who had recently surrendered her life to Christ after hitting rock bottom. The more famous atheist scoffed at her faith in Christ. When he said, “you Christians are obsessed with sin. You say we are born into sin and that your God had to send His Son to pay the penalty for our sins.” Then he asked the brave new Christian, “Why are you Christians obsessed with sin?”Her answer was powerful. She said, Christians are not obsessed with sin, we are obsessed with love.”
May we all live are lives today obsessed with the love of Christ! Our smallest act of love and kindness may go unnoticed by the world, but it will be significant to God.
“And if anyone gives even a cup of cold water to one of these little ones who is my disciple, truly I tell you, that person will certainly not lose their reward.”
