Disappointments in life are inevitable. I remember failing my first driver’s test, losing to our rival in my last high school baseball game, and getting released from two professional baseball teams. There were more disappointments, of course. Some were more easily to overcome than others. I do know this; when I surrender my disappointments to Jesus, the discouragement is replaced by His strength and His goodness.
“But he said to me, ‘My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.’”
(2 Corinthians 12:9)
“Disappointments are inevitable; discouragement is a choice.”
