“I have hidden your word in my heart that I might not sin against you.”
(Psalms 119:11)
Notice that the psalmists didn’t say, “I’ve kept your word in my head.” We need to meditate on God’s word, with the help of the Holy Spirit, and hide it in our hearts.
Jesus said, “A good man brings good things out of the good stored up in his heart, and an evil man brings evil things out of the evil stored up in his heart. For the mouth speaks what the heart is full of.”
(Luke 6:45)
Let’s store good things, especially the Word, in our hearts.
