There’s a lot of anger in the world today. As a Christian, how are we supposed to react to the injustices all around us? Protest, take shots at those evil conservatives or liberals on social media, or fire off an angry letter to your congressman?

If I prayed each time I felt “righteous indignation” knock at the door of my heart then I may possibly understand what righteous indignation is all about. Am I righteous enough to have righteous indignation? No, I am not. Not even close.

“Be still before the Lord and wait patiently for him; do not fret when people succeed in their ways, when they carry out their wicked schemes. Refrain from anger and turn from wrath; do not fret—it leads only to evil.”
(Psalms 37:7-8)

All of you, please, wait with me and pray that God will once again extend His patience and mercy for healing in our land.

No Jesus, no peace. Know Jesus, know peace.
