Mound Visits, 1/13/20
Each January, a friend of mine goes to a monastery for a few days to spend time away from work, phones and other devices . He spends time in God’s Word and in prayer. He’s not Catholic, but he loves the peace so that his heart can hear from God.
We may not schedule time in a monastery, but we can schedule time in the morning or other times of the day. We often can’t know God’s will in our lives because we’re listening to so many other “voices.” The word for today is “Quiet.”
“The Lord will fight for you; you need only to be still.””
