Mound Visits, 1/8/24
The ABCA had a tremendous convention in Dallas these past few days. Over 7,000 coaches attended from all 50 states and several foreign countries. It was a good time. In my busyness of board meetings and meetings with old and new friends, I missed my time in the Word and “breathing in” God’s peace.
Mike Linch reminded me this morning of this truth: “We can often miss the best by doing what is good.”
Nothing replaces the peace found in spending time with Christ.
”When they saw the courage of Peter and John and realized that they were unschooled, ordinary men, they were astonished and they took note that these men had been with Jesus.“
(Acts 4:13)
These men had been with Jesus!
