Mound Visits, 1/9/22

A pastor once said, we all should have a “God basket.” Whatever anxiety, worry or fear we have, we should write it on a piece of paper and put it in the basket. Don’t take the worry out of God’s basket the following day. Instead, trust Him with it. He can handle it better than we can!

“Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own.”
(Matthew 6:34)

“Anxiety does not empty tomorrow of its sorrows, but only empties today of its strength.”
(Charles Spurgeon)
