Your Faith
When Jesus saw a few men lower their paralyzed friend through a roof so that he could be healed, Jesus looked at the twisted body and said, “Friend, because of THEIR faith, your sins are forgiven!”
A few points about this beautiful passage of scripture:
- Your faith is important to your friends and family members. Jesus loves it when we love others enough and have faith enough to take them to Jesus…to church or a Bible study, or to share a meal with them and tell them about Jesus.
- If we had been in the crowded house where Jesus forgave the paralytic of his sins, we may have questioned, “why doesn’t He heal Him?” (He healed the paralytic after forgiving him)
- The eternal is more important to Jesus than the temporary.
- We more often look at the outward appearance, Jesus always looks at the heart.
- Jesus healing the paralyzed man was a miracle, forgiving him of His sins was an eternal miracle.

Let’s all be mat carriers today, men and women of faith who love people enough to place friends at the feet of Jesus.
