Mound Visits, 10/19/23

Many times in sports, especially baseball, we get so caught up in the analytics, the uniforms, the gear gadgets and the latest philosophy that we forget that the goal of each hitter should be to make it home.

It’s similar with faith. If we forget the politics, the pettiness and the disagreements and just keep our eyes on Jesus, He will show us the way Home.

“For we know that if the earthly tent we live in is destroyed, we have a building from God, an eternal house in heaven, not built by human hands.”
(2 Corinthians 5:14)
