The classic Gospel Song, “Just a Closer Walk” has been recorded by Patsy Cline, Alabama and many others. It’s uncertain who wrote it, but the lyrics and melody strike a chord with most of us, especially when we have no where to look but up.
“I am weak but Thou art strong;
Jesus, keep me from all wrong;
I’ll be satisfied as long
As I walk, let me walk close to Thee”
Whoever wrote “Just a Closer Walk” could relate to Isaiah’s prayer in Isaiah 33:2…
“Lord, be gracious to us; we long for you. Be our strength every morning, our salvation in time of distress.”
