Mound Visits, 11/5/22
Paul David Tripp once said, “To think today, when your life doesn’t work as planned, that it’s out of control is to forget that Jesus reigns for your sake and His glory.”
Many of you know that I was crushed when I made it to Triple A at 19, but was out of baseball without making it to the majors at 22. But, for “my sake and His glory” God set me on a new path …coaching (27 years) and now ministry. It took a while for me to recognize His better plan, but now I don’t look back. I thank God for His better plan!
“Trust in the LORD with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to him, and he will make your paths straight.”- Proverbs 3:5-6
