Mound Visits, 1/3/18
I don’t know about you, but I become uncomfortable around people when they appear to have the perfect marriage, the perfect family, and the perfect consistency in their relationship with Christ. I’ve lived long enough to know the perfect situation just really isn’t real. I’ve heard it said that “behind every face there is a drama ready to unfold.” That’s why Christ wants us to be kind to one another. Ian MacLaren said, “Be kind, for every man is fighting a hard battle.” No one on this earth is perfect. We all have outward and inward battles. God knows that; that’s why He gave us the perfect Gift, Jesus Christ. Jesus knows our struggles, our hearts our attitudes and our weaknesses but loves us just the same. Grace.
“My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.”
