There is power in the words you speak. Words of both trust and doubt hold us accountable. Perhaps that’s why the Apostle Paul said, “If you declare with your mouth, ‘Jesus is Lord,’ and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved.” (Romans 10:9)
Once we declare our faith verbally, there may still be doubts, occasionally, along the journey, but we will always be drawn back to our declarations of faith that lives in our hearts.
