Mound Visits, 2/14/17
I recently heard a story about a woman who was an alcoholic. She turned to God to give her strength and began to attend church faithfully. One morning while leaving church she heard one woman say to another, “how much longer will she be hanging around here?” The alcoholic later died having never attended church again. What came out of the gossips mouth was much worse than anything the alcoholic ever took in to hers.
Jesus said, “Listen and understand. What goes into a man’s mouth dies not make him ‘unclean,’ but what comes out of his mouth, that is what makes him unclean.”
