“Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; the old has gone, the new has come!” (2 Corinthians 5:17)
These words are 2,000 years old, but they are as true as ever today. God continues to create. As “new creations” we don’t have to live our lives facing our fears, weaknesses and sin alone. It’s important to stay close to Him, follow Him and learn to love Him more. One of my first memories is walking along a country road with my dad. He was tall, I was about 4 yrs old and very short. I remember holding his large hand and trying to keep up with him, never letting go. I wasn’t only following him, I was holding on to him and trying to keep up, tryin to “keep in step.” The same is true today with my Heavenly Father.
“Since we live by the Spirit, let us keep in step with the Spirit.”
(Galatians 5:25)
