As World War ll became imminent, the British government used posters hung in railroad platforms, pubs and restaurants to give citizens reassurance and a sense of calm. They saved one poster in preparation for a German invasion. It read in bold, capital letters, “KEEP CALM AND CARRY ON.” It was a good message. Thankfully it was never used.
Jesus gave us a good, clear message in John 14:1 when we are invaded by crises in our lives. I will mimic the British government and use all “caps” to help send the needed message loud and clear:
“DO NOT LET YOUR HEARTS BE TROUBLED. TRUST IN GOD; TRUST ALSO IN ME.”
Keep calm and carry on.
