Mound Visits, 3/8/18

When disappointments invade my life, I can either blame someone else, feel sorry for myself, or use them as an opportunity to learn and grow. Recently, I ran across this prayer. I don’t know who prayed this prayer, but it’s a great one for me to remember:

“Lord Jesus, you embraced your cross to redeem the world. Help me to embrace the crosses in my life — the hardships, struggles, disappointments, pain. Only by recognizing my own weakness, can I discover your strength.” (Author unknown)

“Weeping may remain for the night, but rejoicing comes in the morning.”
(Psalm 30:5)
