Mound Visits, 4/2/22

When I willingly spend time alone with Christ, I sense gratitude, peace and freedom. Why would I not seek this often throughout the day? The busyness and the demands we place on ourselves lead us away from freedom. When we become slaves to Christ, we have freedom. When we have freedom away from Christ, it’s easy to become a slave to sin.

One of the classic Christian paradoxes is that freedom leads to slavery and slavery leads to freedom. — John F. MacArthur Jr.

“Now the Lord is the Spirit, and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is freedom.”
(2 Corinthians 3:17)
