Mound Visits, 4/24/23
As a coach in the SEC for many years, the second half of the SEC schedule could be grueling. Every game is important. Every pitch is important! Competing on every pitch can drain you over the course of the season. As a coach or as an athlete you can’t compete if your tank is empty. There were times I simply had to trust in the source of strength, power and life…Jesus Christ.
“But blessed is the one who trusts in the Lord, whose confidence is in him. They will be like a tree planted by the water that sends out its roots by the stream. It does not fear when heat comes; its leaves are always green. It has no worries in a year of drought and never fails to bear fruit.”
