I’m not going to tell you that it’s easy. And, I’m not going to tell you that I’ve always fully grasped this concept. But, when we suffer, instead of asking “when will I get out of this suffering?” Ask instead,“Lord, what will I get out it this suffering?”

Suffering is sometimes horrendous, but God does not waste our suffering. Instead, He uses it to refine us.

“Not only so, but we also glory in our sufferings, because we know that suffering produces perseverance; perseverance, character; and character, hope.”
(Romans 5:3-4)
