Athletes who play for great coaches will reflect the attitudes and philosophies that will identify them with the coach. These attributes will usually stay with the players for a lifetime.
It’s the same with those who closely follow Christ. Listen to what Paul says about the way we should be identified easily as a Christ follower:
“Therefore, as God’s chosen people, holy and dearly loved, clothe yourselves with compassion, kindness, humility, gentleness and patience.”
(Colossians 3:12)
If we truly follow Christ, these qualities will be witnessed at home, work, with our friends and on social media. We will be wearing the Master’s uniform.
