Mound Visits, 5/3/22

One year we had a group of grumblers and complainers on our team. That year (thankfully it was only one), I guess you weren’t cool unless you complained. By the end of the year the negativity was so thick that I thought I was the only one who cared. Then I learned that one of my assistant coaches didn’t think that I cared! It was horrendous.

Paul David Tripp says, “If you put yourself in the center of your world, you will find plenty of things to complain about. Complaining allows the display of God’s splendor in creation to go unnoticed.”

When we place God in the center of our lives, we see His splendor, blessings and goodness. We don’t complain or grumble!

“The heavens declare the glory of God; the skies proclaim the work of his hands.”
(Psalm 19:1)
