Mound Visits, 5/4/26

Sometimes becoming more like Jesus is challenging. In Luke 6:27-28, Jesus said, “But to you who are listening I say: Love your enemies, do good to those who hate you, bless those who curse you, pray for those who mistreat you.”

In the “Coaches and Scouts” Bible Study I’m in each Monday morning, Mike Linch is leading us in a series called “Upside Down Living.” I know for me, I can’t love my enemies unless I pray for them. I can’t pray for them unless I truly want to be more like Jesus and less like the world.

“Darkness cannot drive out darkness; only light can do that. Hate cannot drive out hate; only love can do that.”
(Martin Luther King, Jr)
