Jesus…The name is precious to some, offensive to some and is used in cursing by some. This is what Paul said about Him:

“Therefore God exalted him to the highest place
and gave him the name that is above every name,
that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow,
in heaven and on earth and under the earth,
and every tongue confess that Jesus Christ is Lord,
to the glory of the Father.”
(Philippians 2:9-11)

Charles Spurgeon once said, “I have a great need for Christ. I have a great Christ for my need.”
