After reading a quote by author, Max Lucado, I decide to do a quick study about man’s heart…my heart. First of all, Max said this: “You change your life by changing your heart.” My short Study took me to these verses:
Proverbs 27:19 “As water reflects a face, so a man’s heart reflects the man.”
Matthew 6:21 “For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also.”
After reading the Lucado quote and those two verses I became a little uncomfortable about the condition of my heart. Then, I read the following verses:
Psalm 51:10 “Create in me a pure heart, O God, and renew a steadfast spirit within me.”
Then, this promise from God…
Ezekiel 36:26 “I will give you a new heart and put a new spirit in you; I will remove your heart of stone and give you a heart of flesh.”
My study finished with an attitude of gratitude.
