Mound Visits, 5/4/17
Whether you are an executive, a coach, a teacher, a foreman or a parent, we want the best from ourselves and for those we lead. In demanding excellence in stressful situations, do we get louder or do we exude confidence? A wise man once said, “Words that soak into your ears are usually whispered…and not yelled.” In most cases, yelling, ‘put downs,’and cynicism are not an effective forms of communication. It only stirs up anger and creates a barrier.
“A gentle answer turns away wrath, but harsh words stirs up anger.” (Proverbs 15:1)
