Mound Visits, 6/11/18

Things change.

Our children grow up quickly. Our jobs may change.
The stock market is up and down.
One day we’re healthy, the next day we’re not.
Loved ones pass.
Sometimes our teams win, sometimes they lose.
Friends stick with us, others betray us.
Life is uncertain.

One thing never changes…the love of Christ. He is faithful during hard times and good times. He’s with us when we celebrate and also when our spirits are crushed. When you feel alone, you are not. He just patiently waits for us to give our broken hearts to Him for healing.

“The Lord is close to the broken-hearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit.” (Psalm 34:18)

“Jesus Christ is the same yesterday and today and forever.” (Hebrews 13:8)
