Mound Visits, 6/13/18
I like being in control of my circumstances. I don’t like suffering or seeing those I love suffer. There are things I wanted to achieve in life that are now out of reach. These things I know. I also know, looking back, that in every moment of suffering, every disappointment, every season of adversity, God has given me both strength and growth. First, I must submit to Him and admit that there challenges in life I cannot control and ask Him for help. We serve a Father who loves us and who wants to calm the storms of our lives and provide peace during chaos.
“And the God of all grace, who called you to His eternal glory in Christ, after you have suffered a little while, will himself restore you and make you strong, firm and steadfast. To Him be the power for ever and ever. Amen.”
(1 Peter 5:10-11)
