The stock market may be up one day, down the next. Your favorite sports team may have won yesterday, but they may lose today. During elections, sometimes the person you vote for wins. During the next election, your candidate may lose. You get the point. Life is uncertain. We don’t always get what we want. When you read the Word of God, you don’t need to worry about uncertainty. You trust the One who inspired the writing of the Word. For example, Jesus said this about those who truly follow Him:
“I give them eternal life, and they shall never perish; no one will snatch them out of my hand.”
(John 10:28)
“God won’t light your second step until you have taken the first one.”
