Mound Visits, 7/17/18

When my sons were very young, I would come home from practice, a game or a recruiting trip only to hear little feet running on the floor and then know they would jump in to my arms.

For those brief moments, I didn’t think about wins, losses, errors or recruiting. Instead, I was engulfed in love and contentment.

God wants us to turn to Him. He wants us to run to Him…that’s where the love is. That’s where we find peace.

“He brought me out into a spacious place; He rescued me because He delighted in me.” (Psalm 18:19)
