I’ve noticed that when I’m too busy to pray, my day is usually chaotic or unproductive. If I start with prayer and think of God being with me throughout the day, I not only have peace, but I also accomplish more.
I hear people say, “I don’t know how to pray.” They should start simply by saying, “thank you.”
Max Lucado once said, “Our prayers may be awkward. Our attempts may be feeble. But since the power of prayer is in the one who hears it and not in the one who says it, our prayers do make a difference.”
“Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds in Christ Jesus.”
