The GOAT (greatest of all time) can be a controversial topic: Michael or Lebron? Ruth, Williams, Mays, Mantle, Bonds or Trout? Manning, Brady, Bradshaw, Montana or Elway? Much of it depends upon how we judge greatness. Do we consider championships, individual accomplishments or how they impacted the sport?

Jesus used another quality to determine greatness…
humility. “Therefore, whoever humbles himself like this child is the greatest in the kingdom of heaven.”
(Matthew 18:4)

“Humble yourselves before the Lord, and He will lift you up.” (James 4:10)
