We serve God by Serving Others
This morning I was reminded about a time in my life when I would ask God almost every morning, “What would you have me do today? Help me to be so locked in to You that I would see who you bring in front of me; in the office, on the field, in a restaurant or while recruiting.”
My faith grew in those days, because almost every time I prayed that prayer, God would place someone in my path who needed a friend or who needed to learn more about Jesus. Join me today in asking: “Lord, provide an opportunity for me today to honor You, encourage someone, help someone in need, or even share the good news about Jesus with someone who needs to hear it.”
“You are all children of the light and children of the day. We do not belong to the night or to the darkness. So then, let us not be like others, who are asleep, but let us be awake and sober.”
(1 Thessalonians 5:5-6)
