Humility
Baseball can be a challenging game. You can go three-for-four one day, then go hitless in your next 15 at bats. There is a ‘saying’ in baseball that is very applicable to life: “Every player is either humble, or he’s getting ready to be humbled.”
Jesus said:
“…for all those who exalt themselves will be humbled, and those who humble themselves will be exalted.”
(Luke 18:14b)
