Mound Visits, 8/23/21

I once had a good friend come up to me at a dinner party and bring the subject of faith up in the conversation. He asked, “your not one of this ‘born again’ Christians, are you?’” I gave a poor answer hoping not to offend him. What I should have said is everyone who has received Christ and believe in Him are born again. John explains it best:

“Yet to all who did receive him, to those who believed in his name, he gave the right to become children of God— children born not of natural descent, nor of human decision or a husband’s will, but born of God.”
(John 1:12-13)
