Mound Visits, 8/10/18
In a few months, through SCORE International, we will be in the Dominican Republic conducting free baseball clinics and sharing our faith with 5-6,000 kids. They will ask us for water, food, hats, gloves, shoes, baseballs, etc. We will give what we have to the ones we feel have the greatest need. What we will give to all is baseball instruction, and the Gospel. God knows their needs and He knows what we can give. We are not righteous, but God is and we attempt to serve Him.
Jesus taught us this: “Which of you, if his son ask for bread, will give him a stone? Or if he ask for a fish, will give him a snake? If you then, though you are evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your Father in heaven give good gifts to those who ask him! So in everything, do to others what you would have them do to you, for this sums up the Law and the Prophets.”
