If we communicate with God often during the mundane, we will feel more comfortable reaching out to Him during a crisis. He always wants to hear from us and He’s always available. Short prayers of gratitude are pleasing to His ears. Sincere, brief request for wisdom and guidance are also welcome.

“…pray continually; give thanks in all circumstances, for this is God’s will for you in Christ Jesus.”
(1 Thessalonians 5:17-18)
