Mound Visits, 8/25/16
God doesn’t forget you, abandon you or let go of you. Not even when you have a bad day, forget to pray or think you are too busy to read your Bible. He wants to hear from us, just like we want to hear our children’s deepest thoughts. He want us to have good days, just like we want our children to have good days. He wants us to read His Word because He wants us to hear from Him, learn and grow. But, even on our worst days, we are still His children and He loves us. He loves us enough to be patient with us, discipline us and encourage us to stay on the right path. Jesus says this about His followers: “My Father, who has given them to me, is greater than all; no one can snatch them out of my Fathers’s hand.” (John 10:29). Once you accept Jesus’ invitation to follow Him, you are His child. You are safe and secure forever.
