Mound Visits, 9/16/22
There are three things we can do if we aren’t happy with the direction of our nation:
1. Complain (I have complained quite a bit over many years. It hasn’t helped.)
2. Move (If you move, you may be singing The Who’s hit from the 70’s, “Won’t Get Fooled Again.” You may remember the last line of the song, “Meet the new boss, same as the old boss.“)
3. Pray (“Prayer moves everything behind everything that moves everything. And that means that it misses nothing.”-Craig Lansbrough)
Paul says option “3” is best, we should pray.
“I urge, then, first of all, that petitions, prayers, intercession and thanksgiving be made for all people— for kings and all those in authority, that we may live peaceful and quiet lives in all godliness and holiness. This is good, and pleases God our Savior,”
