Freedom
There was a time in my life that I felt separated from God. Perhaps you’ve been in that dark place as well. But because of God’s mercy and forgiveness, when we turn away from sin and go to Him for forgiveness, He forgets our sin. His grace is truly amazing.
“as far as the east is from the west, so far has he removed our transgressions from us.”
(Psalms 103:12)
“If you, Lord, kept a record of sins, Lord, who could stand? But with you there is forgiveness, so that we can, with reverence, serve you.” (Psalms 130:3-4)
The moment we ask for forgiveness with a repentant heart, God forgives us. Satan wants us to continue to carry the guilt, but God wants us to be free of guilt and sin.
