Mound Visits, 9/9/21

If there was ever a time for Christians to get off the bench and get into the game, it’s now. Talking about our faith isn’t enough. We (including me) need to walk the talk. “The harvest is plentiful.” Here’s a few areas where we can serve: Nursing homes, schools, sports teams, the elderly, single parents, a struggling small business, homeless shelters, jails, prisons and churches. Give a ride, hold a hand, volunteer, listen. “Preach a sermon every day. When necessary, use words.” (Augustine) Let’s all get in the game!

“Then he said to his disciples, “The harvest is plentiful but the workers are few. Ask the Lord of the harvest, therefore, to send out workers into his harvest field.””
