Forgetting the past…
Few ever needed or wanted to forget the past more than the Apostle Paul. He was an educated man but relentless in attempting to stop Jesus’ followers in any way possible. Then, he met Christ on the road to Damascus and everything changed. He became a new man who loved Jesus and The Way he had formerly hated. This is what Paul said about forgetting the past: “…But one thing I do: Forgetting what is behind and straining toward what is ahead, I press on toward the goal to win the prize for which God has called me heavenward in Christ Jesus.” (Philippians 3:13-14)
If Paul can forget a sinful past, change and follow Jesus, anyone can!
