In the early 90’s a young teacher, Guy Dowd, was discouraged and on the verge of quitting. Prayer changed everything. Each morning before the students arrived, he would sit at a student’s desk and pray for that particular student; each morning, different desk, different student. He didn’t quit his job or stop praying. Three years later he was named “National Teacher if the Year”! More importantly, he influenced many students and teachers throughout his career. Remember this…the prayers you pray now for family, co-workers, players on your team or friends will leave a legacy that will last throughout eternity.
“Be joyful always; pray continually; give thanks in all circumstances, for this is God’s will for you in Christ Jesus.”
