God doesn’t love us as we want to be, pretend to be or should be. No, He loves us just the way we are…but loves us too much to allow us to stay this way. When we submit to Him in prayer, study His Word and learn to love Him and love others, we grow and mature spiritually. All parents want their children to grow and mature. Our Heavenly Father wants that for His children, too. “being confident of this, that he who began a good work in you will carry it on to completion until the day of Christ Jesus.” (Phil.1:6)
