Mound Visits, 12/3/18

Surrender is a difficult concept for competitive people…independent people. But, in my personal experience, each day I surrender to Christ is a day that I find myself more equipped for the day’s challenges; more wisdom, more grace, more joy, more inner-strength, more energy, more selflessness, less negativity, and less bitterness.

A simple prayer of surrender now or on your way to work could be:

“Lord, take this day and my life and have Your way with it. I know You can do far better with it than I ever could. I need Your wisdom. I need patience. I need courage and strength. Thank You.”
