Mound Visit, 10/1/21
Jesus is kind and full of love and grace. He even died for us. If you are a believer, loving Him is knowing His character.
“Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind and with all your strength.’ The second is this: ‘Love your neighbor as yourself.’ There is no commandment greater than these.””
(Mark 12:30-31)
Loving the Lord…how can you not? Love your neighbor as yourself? How can you? They are too conservative, too liberal, they didn’t get vaccinated, they don’t wear masks (or maybe they wear masks all the time). They are elitist, they are agnostic. They are our neighbors. How do we love them? We ask Jesus to love them through us. Jesus said, “apart from me you can do nothing.” (John 15:5b)
We are a work in progress, but we all need to make progress. We gotta start somewhere and sometime. Today is as good as any.
