Mound Visits, 1/11/23

Be present. We all know how it feels when the person we are talking to is distracted…Perhaps they are glancing at their phone or watch. This is another way that we need to be more like Jesus. He is always fully engaged when we talk to Him—when we desire to touch His heart in prayer.

““Who touched me?” Jesus asked. When they all denied it, Peter said, “Master, the people are crowding and pressing against you.” But Jesus said, “Someone touched me; I know that power has gone out from me.””
(Luke 8:45-46)

Is it our desire to be interested, or interesting?
