Mound Visits, 1/14/21

A few of you may follow me on Twitter or Facebook. If so, you’ve probably noticed that I’m not very happy with the snail’s pace of the COVID-19 vaccination rollout. My mother is 92. My wife is recovering from cancer surgery and radiation. The vaccine was delivered to Louisville and Memphis mid-December, but neither of the most important women in my life have even come close to being vaccinated. Then I read this:

“My anger isn’t a sign of trust; it’s just the opposite. I’m worried that someone’s going to get away with something, like God’s not noticing and it’s all up to me. This kind of anger is perfectly human…and just as perfectly destructive as any other kind.” (Brant Hansen)

“Wait on the Lord and be of good courage, and He shall strengthen your heart; wait, I say, on the Lord!”
(Psalm 27:14)
