My mother used to make blackberry jam. She would send us to the fence rows and overgrown gullies to find as many plump, ripe blackberries as possible. She would then put her magic touch on the process making jam, then can them, seal them and store them to eat with hot biscuits all winter. Good things went into each Mason jar. Great things came out.
Let’s store good things in our hearts…the Word of God, good conversations and fellowship with people who add value to our lives. Then, when we speak, good things will come from what has been stored in our hearts.
“A good man brings good things out of the good stored up in his heart, and an evil man brings evil things out of the evil stored up in his heart. For the mouth speaks what the heart is full of.“
(Luke 6:45)
If you want your words to have value, add value to what is stored in your heart.
