Mound Visits, 1/21/22

In Timothy Keller’s brilliant book, “The Prodigal God”, he says of Jesus’ parable of the Lost Son that “the younger brother knew he was alienated from the father, but the elder brother did not.

The most dangerous place to be is to believe in our own righteousness.

“And be found in Him, not having my own righteousness, which is from the law, but that which is through faith in Christ, the righteousness which is from God by faith.” 
(Philippians 3:9.)
